Two-Spirited People of the 1st Nations took part in celebration of the Pride 2004. Our members walked the streets with our flags and banners.
For the first time, a rainbow flag was flown above Seattle in support of Pride. The first “liberal mosque” in Seattle, which allows men and women to pray together and invites members of the LGBTQI+ community, the state government building, also received it.
The Pride attendees urged, among other things, that all offenses against the LGBTQI+ community be looked into and that workplace diversity be increased.
