Seven Aboriginal volunteer Board members govern 2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations. The Executive Committee is comprised of the President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer. Our volunteer Board of Directors includes Aboriginal people living with HIV/AIDS (APHAs) and the role of the Board is to provide guidance and direction to the Executive Director for the daily operations of 2 Spirits.

2 Spirits operates with a committee structure including:

• APHA (Aboriginal people living with HIV/AIDS) Committee,
• Communications Committee,
• Finance Committee,
• Fundraising Committee,
• Membership Committee,
• Personnel Committee, and
• 2 Spirit Women's Committee.

All committees of the Board are chaired by a board member (whose responsibility is to report back to the Board of Directors) and community members actively participate in these committees.

The Board of Directors strike ad hoc committees when necessary to work on policies. Community members actively participate in these communities, if you are interested in getting involved, contact art@2spirits.com

2 Spirits has over one hundred (100) members. Our membership consists of Aboriginal 2 Spirit, lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, trans and intersexed people. Become a member of 2 Spirits by completing an application form and forward to Art.

2 Spirits has eighty (80) volunteers. The majority of volunteers are of Aboriginal descent and contribute to our organizations programs and services. To join our volunteer pool contact art@2spirits.com
